FDIC Transaction Account Guarantee Program

Effective July 1, 2010 SouthernTrust Bank has elected to Opt-Out of the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program.  This means that any funds held in a noninterest-bearing transaction account will no longer be guaranteed in full under the TAG Program, but will be insured up to $250,000.00 under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
